Alleviate hardship: Help for the homeless at Frankfurt Airport

Homeless people around Frankfurt Airport are not forgotten, especially at Christmas time: Diakonie looks after the charity with the active support of the humanitarian aid organization Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen / Wings of Help eV (LOG), which, with its headquarters in Cargo City South, has a particularly strong connection to Frankfurt Airport has. LOG has now brought corona protective masks, hygiene items and warm clothing for the homeless to the social station of Diakonie Weser5 at the airport – an action that ran throughout the year in the Rhine-Main area, with LOG focusing on facilities for the needy in Frankfurt and Mainz. Our picture shows (from left) LOG board member Angelika Franke, Malgorzata Zambron and Kristina Wessel, both Weser5 and Dietmar Schinkel, Fraport AG. (Photo: LOG)
