Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen/Wings of Help (LOG/WoH) e.V. mourns the loss of its board member Angelika Franke, who passed away after a short, serious illness. Angelika Franke was responsible for the logistics of the humanitarian aid organization for more than four years and has worked with great commitment to the diverse challenges in the broad area of logistics – not least because of her previous professional activity at a large international company in the logistics fields as one of the most important sectors. Retirement hasn’t let her rest: she brought all her experience and contacts to Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen/Wings of Help for the benefit of people in need: Be it here in Germany and Europe, in the Ukraine, in the Middle East, in southern Africa or anywhere else in the world. LOG/WoH wants to fill the now orphaned logistics department again, assuming an intensive search for personnel for this important task. The general assembly at the beginning of December in Frankfurt am Main silently commemorated Angelika Franke’s extraordinary humanitarian work, which she performed on a voluntary basis. Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen/Wings of Help will always keep her in honorable memory. Angelika Franke’s achievements will have a lasting impact on the work of the organization on the way to the future.
