Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen/Wings of Help expands humanitarian aid through educational programs – 1300 workstations in ten countries
From Romania to Greece, from Mozambique to Myanmar: Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen/Wings of Help (LOG/WoH) e.V. is consistently expanding its learning program “Education is Future, EIF” and now has ten countries where LOG/who has set up computer classes for young people. In recent years, over 1,300 learning places/work stations have been created for disadvantaged students – in refugee townships, camps on the outskirts of the city, in local schools without infrastructure, at regional organizations that want to give people a connection to the future via computers. EIF classes can now be found in European countries as well as outside of Europe in Myanmar, Puerto Rico and Nepal. Ethiopia, Mozambique, northern Iraq and the Bahamas. They are looked after by teachers, provide support during homework and tutoring also language courses with Turorials. From the huge refugee tent cities in Kurdistan with over a million migrants, there are now connections to the faculties of the universities in the capital city of Erbil and to the American university in the northern Iraqi city of Dohuk for the benefit of young students who work with a laptop from LOG/WoH. This applies in countries outside of Europe, but also within. LOG/WoH focuses on countries with great educational needs.
