Eighth major operation by Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen/Wings of Help e.V. for the people in Ukraine

The situation of people affected by the war in Ukraine is getting worse dramatically. Many of them have neither electricity nor water and suffer from the winter cold. Already this week, the eighth truck convoy, consisting of five heavy trucks, set off with the destination Ukraine. Two of the five articulated vans are loaded exclusively with warm clothing. Hygiene items, food and much-needed baby food are also on their way to bring relief to people who have been suffering from the difficult weather conditions for weeks. LOG/WoH President Frank Franke: “The aid transport is under the motto “Against the cold”. Our organization has now brought 64 heavy trucks with urgently needed relief supplies to the Ukraine. The consequences of the Ukraine war for the affected people in the country represent the greatest challenge for LOG/WoH since the aid organization was founded 20 years ago.”
